Ramon is a technology professional, product manager, video and sound artist, and a UX/UI designer who lives and works in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ramon has worked in technology in various roles most of his life and is always excited about the possibilities of a new design. He is a passionate facilitator of User Centered Design and strives to ensure projects and products deliver a great experience for everyone involved! He holds a variety of certifications in user experience design and has worked in creative technology roles in many successful projects.
Ramon most recently worked for VisionMonitor Software where he Led product development and implementation of data analytics technologies for global commercial airlines. He managed all US and European projects from scope and planning to resource allocation and delivery. His responsibilities also included continually evolving the look and feel of the software product, as well as multimedia designs used in marketing efforts. These designs spanned software interfaces, web graphics, videos, and presentations. Notably in his career, Ramon also worked as a Senior Creative Consultant for CommonVision, as a Director of Web Development for eBopp.com, and as a Product and Technology Specialist for Akai Musical Instrument Corp.
Ramon is currently focused on the development of projects that include sound designs, video editing, motion graphics design, as well as audio composition and correction for video projects. He works in all aspects of video editing for projects including web streaming, conference videos, event productions, and web applications. For over twenty years Christine Jelson West has produced creative cultural programs, most free and accessible to the public. An art administrator, curator and community connector, she cherishes projects that facilitate opportunities for artists, many that they may not otherwise be able to consider.
In her most recent post as Cultural Programs Manager for Houston First Corporation, she not only managed over forty works of art in the City of Houston Civic Art Collection, but also developed interactive art activations throughout the Avenida (convention center) and Theater Districts in Houston, Texas. She also served on a team dedicated to producing multi-disciplinary events in celebration of annual cultural heritage months.
Christine previously served as Executive Director of Lawndale Art Center, where she began a successful artist residency and established a rotating mural program. Prior, she was the Executive Director of the Galveston Arts Center where she secured a National Treasures grant for the restoration of their historic building.
Christine has served on several boards including the Houston Museum District Association, Houston Arts Foundation, Glasstire, Midtown Arts and Theater Center, and the Texas Association of Museums. Frequently asked to speak about the challenges facing artists and arts administrators, she is a longtime advocate for local creatives and is always searching for unique opportunities to further their professional development. She has curated and juried numerous art exhibitions, and participated in grant review panels for local, state and national granting organizations.
